Is Wildflower Landscapers the Right Fit for Your Project?

Choosing a landscaper is like choosing a home builder—it’s a long-term relationship involving a significant investment. We’ll be the first to admit: Wildflower Landscapers is not the right fit for everyone. We don’t say that to be elitist; we say it because we value your time and our craft. To help you decide if we’re the right team for your vision, here is a transparent look at how we work and who we serve best.
We ARE a great fit if...
You Value Design and Planning
If you want to see exactly how your $75,000 investment looks before we move a single shovelful of dirt, you’re in the right place. We specialize in 3D Design-Build projects. We don't "wing it" on-site. We plan every elevation, drainage point, and lighting fixture in a digital model first.
2. You Want a "Private Resort" Experience
Our "sweet spot" is the comprehensive outdoor transformation. We excel when we are managing the entire vision—from the custom paver patio and outdoor kitchen to the retaining walls, fire features, and final plantings. If you want your backyard to feel like a high-end getaway instead of getting a second vacation home, we are your team.
3. You Care About "Under the Hood" Quality
In Wisconsin, the freeze-thaw cycle is a patio killer. We don't cut corners on base preparation. We use Open Graded Base (OGB) systems that allow water to flow through the stone rather than sitting under it and heaving. If you want a patio that looks as good in 10 years as it does on Day 1, we speak your language.
We are NOT a great fit if...
1. You Are Looking for the "Lowest Bid"
We are rarely the cheapest option in the Fox Valley. Our pricing reflects our high-quality materials, our specialized equipment, and the living wages we pay our skilled craftsmen. If your primary goal is the lowest possible price tag, we likely won't be a match.
2. You Need a "Quick Patch" or Small Repair
We are setup for large-scale construction. We generally do not take on:
Small paver repairs or "re-leveling" other contractors' work.
Basic mulch refreshing or residential lawn mowing.
Single-day planting jobs.
Our minimum project size typically starts at $10,000 - $20,000.
3. You Need it "By Next Week"
As mentioned in our other posts, we are a high-demand firm. We don't always have the ability to "squeeze in" projects because that leads to mistakes. We prioritize our existing clients and maintain a strict production schedule to ensure every project gets our full attention.
The Verdict
If you want a partner who will be honest about your budget, obsessive about your drainage, and dedicated to building a space that increases your home's value, we should talk.
